executive coaching

Coaching is a collaborative process of self-discovery, goal setting, and action taking, all designed to help you become more effective in accomplishing your goals and more fulfilled in doing so.

  • Coaching starts with the present, focusing on your strengths, aspirations, and challenges.
  • Leadership assessment tools are often part of the coaching process.
  • Coaching then focuses on clarifying your vision for the future, identifying steps for positive change, and practicing new skills.

As a coach, Susan will listen closely, ask thought-provoking questions, share observations and perspectives, offer support and resources, and provide an encouraging learning framework.  Typically, coaching sessions are held every two weeks at first and then may shift to once a month.  Coaching commonly lasts for several months until the goals for coaching have been accomplished.  At times, clients choose to continue meeting for the confidential sounding board useful to those serving in top leadership roles.

Wilkes Consulting develops leaders & teams who perform their best."Susan is great at asking leading questions that make you think about the larger scale implications of your situation. It's helpful to have the objective sounding board, especially with challenging issues."
