Wilkes Consulting develops leaders & teams who perform their best.

In our postmodern world, many long for a deeper experience of the Sacred.  Spiritual direction is a confidential, one-on-one relationship exploring the spiritual dimensions of life.  Usually clients meet with Susan once a month for an hour and may continue for a short period or several years.  Susan also works with clergy who are seeking to integrate their spirituality and leadership practices.  While her training is in the Celtic, mystic, and contemplative traditions, Susan welcomes those of all faith backgrounds.

Faith-based organizations often find that the integration of spirituality with leadership development and team building is particularly useful.  Susan teaches staff development and leadership styles for the Leadership Institute at Union Presbyterian Seminary and consults with the United Methodist Conference on the development of emotional intelligence in clergy.  She has also worked with a variety of churches and synagogues on leadership development and strategic planning. Her most recent publication is as co-editor of Words for the Journey.
